The Process…

First, check out the sale. See something you like? Register for the auction by clicking one of the Register buttons at the top of the page. Follow the instructions to register and you will receive confirmation that you are approved to bid.

Dovetail Auctions offers two online only bidding platforms, Bidsquare and HiBid. Please give us a call if you have any questions about this. We will hold in person preview prior to every sale. Please see our preview hours or give a call to set up a time to see the sale in person. If you would like to leave a bid with us to bid for you, we’d be happy to. Give us a call and we can talk it over.

Bid! This is the fun part. You can leave a high bid and walk away or you can take part in the excitement and watch the sale live online allowing you to raise your bid from any device.

Please keep in mind, a 25% buyers premium will be added to each transaction. For example, if you have a winning bid of $100, your invoice total before tax and shipping will be $125.

Shipping estimates can be found in each item description and quotes will be provided after the sale when shipping addresses are determined. Multiple lots can absolutely be combined for more cost effective shipping.

Following the sale, successful bidders will receive an invoice and an accurate shipping quote. We require payment of all items within 7 days of the sale but you are welcome to make other arrangements for shipping with an outside vendor.

For larger items that we are unable to handle in house, we are happy to provide a list of recommended shippers who can help.
