Highspire Corner is a Chester County Historical Gem.
It is the former home of Jim Croce, the current home of Dovetail Auctions and the future home of a quaint getaway for lovers of music, antiques and history.
Jim Croce lived at Highspire Corner in the early 70s. He wrote his most famous songs here and his music still plays regularly in the barn while we work. The EIGHT PERSON outhouse is the cover of his album You Don’t Mess Around With Jim and is still standing today. There are big dreams to restore the property and make it a safe and beautiful place to visit. Because of the size and age of the property, renovation costs are extremely high.
